What happens when PerimeterEye detects something suspicious?

Does the system still work if my internet goes out?
Yes. The PerimeterEye Brain runs the core system locally on your network — live view, continuous recording, instant rewind, spotlights, and siren all keep working through an outage. Remote access resumes when connectivity returns.
Can PerimeterEye use my existing cameras?
In many cases, yes. The Brain works with many existing IP cameras that provide RTSP or ONVIF streams. Compatibility is checked during your property review, and hardware is only added where coverage or response needs it.
Can the siren go off by accident?
The siren is policy-gated and engineered against misfires: safe-start ramping, a volume clamp, and a watchdog auto-stop. It only activates through policy-approved escalation or your explicit command, and you can stop it at any time from the wall panel or iOS app.
How long until the system is fully dialed in?
Protection is active from day one. Over the first days of the AI calibration period, the system learns household routines, familiar vehicles, and delivery patterns, so alerts get sharper and quieter as it settles in.
Does PerimeterEye guarantee that break-ins won't happen?
No. PerimeterEye is designed to detect activity earlier, deter it visibly, and give you real-time control and evidence — but no security system can guarantee prevention of every incident.
