Limited Hardware Warranty

Warrantor: PerimeterEye Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Ste 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, USA. Effective date: September 21, 2026. Claims: [email protected].

This is an additional limited commercial warranty for PerimeterEye-branded hardware bought directly from us. It does not replace your rights against the seller for goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for their stated purpose. Those rights may last longer than this warranty.

What is covered and for how long

We cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, starting on the date of delivery.

Two years on all PerimeterEye hardware: cameras, the Brain, wall panels, tracking searchlights, sirens, Access intercoms and PerimeterEye-branded accessories.

Coverage is for the original direct purchaser. Any separate, more favorable warranty supplied with an item remains available. Nothing in this commercial transfer condition limits statutory rights that pass to another owner under applicable law.

Self-installation and independent professionals

You may install the system yourself using the supplied instructions or hire a suitable independent professional. Self-installation, using a third-party installer, opening the product, using a third-party part or obtaining independent service does not automatically cancel the entire warranty. We may exclude the particular damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable power, misuse or an incompatible modification, to the extent permitted by law. An unrelated manufacturing defect remains covered.

Use hardware within its stated electrical, mounting, environmental and weather ratings. Normal use of outdoor-rated equipment within those ratings is not excluded simply because it was installed outdoors. Follow safety instructions and use a licensed professional where required for electrical or structural work.

Remedy and costs

For a covered defect, we will arrange repair or replacement within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Replacement hardware may be new or properly refurbished and functionally equivalent or better. If an appropriate repair or replacement is not available within a reasonable time, we will provide a refund of the price attributable to the affected hardware. Store credit is offered only with your agreement. Mandatory rights may entitle you to a different or earlier remedy.

We cover reasonable shipping needed for an approved covered claim. Do not purchase an unusually expensive return service without checking with us first; we will provide a return label or agree an appropriate method. Independent removal or reinstallation labor is not included in this additional warranty unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires it.

How to claim

Contact [email protected] with your order reference, the affected device and a description of the issue. We may request proof of purchase, photos, device identifiers or reasonable diagnostic information. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. Remote support access, where used, follows the product's support-permission process; this warranty is not blanket permission to view your cameras or property.

We may ask you to perform safe troubleshooting or return the hardware for inspection. Do not attempt hazardous electrical or elevated work. A missing original box or a report made more than 48 hours after delivery does not automatically invalidate a defect claim. We will explain any denial and its connection to the relevant exclusion.

Exclusions and separate services

This additional warranty does not cover ordinary cosmetic wear, theft, accidental impact, deliberate damage, misuse, unsuitable electrical supply, or damage caused by installation or operation outside the product's specifications. An exclusion applies to the damage it causes, not unrelated defects. It does not remove a mandatory remedy.

Your pre-existing cameras, router, cabling and other equipment you bought elsewhere are outside PerimeterEye's commercial hardware warranty. If we sell you a separately branded item, any manufacturer warranty is additional to our obligations as the seller; we do not send you to a manufacturer to avoid mandatory seller responsibilities.

Software, remote access and cloud features are addressed in the Subscription & Service Terms. The hardware warranty does not promise uninterrupted connectivity, perfect AI output, crime prevention or emergency dispatch. Software and goods with digital elements remain subject to applicable statutory conformity and update requirements.

Statutory rights

For EU consumers, the legal guarantee is generally at least two years from delivery and may be longer under national law. This two-year commercial warranty does not reduce or replace it. UK consumers retain their rights concerning satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, description, repair, replacement and rejection. US and Canadian consumers retain applicable state, provincial, territorial and federal rights. We do not disclaim non-excludable implied warranties or exclude liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
