Why this exists
Shahzeb Nadeem founded PerimeterEye Inc after five years of watching cameras and alarm systems fail to stop the thefts they recorded.
Shahzeb Nadeem spent five years in residential development and rehabilitation of distressed properties. Materials and equipment were stolen from his job sites repeatedly — sites that had cameras and had security systems. Thieves simply planned around them.
The decision came at his own house, at four in the morning, when someone tried to take his car out of the driveway. There were cameras. There was a security system. They recorded it. The car was only still there because he had secured it by other means — and the attempt went on for three full minutes before the thieves gave up and left.
He founded PerimeterEye to close that gap: a system that protects what is outside the house as well as what is inside it, and that warns the owner while someone is still coming up the driveway rather than after a door or window has gone.
The attempted vehicle break-in in the footage above is a staged recreation of that night, filmed at the same property with the finished system installed.

Real recordings
All footage is recorded output from a working system on a real property — phone video, property cameras and infrared cameras. Nothing is CGI or software simulation.
Staged scenarios, real responses
The intrusion scenarios were staged for filming. The system was not told what would happen: detection, the searchlight aim and tracking, the warning and the siren are the system's own responses in the moment.
Not a monitoring service
PerimeterEye is not a monitored alarm service. There is no monitoring centre, no operator, and no emergency dispatch. The system acts on the property and notifies the owner, who decides what happens next.
