What the system is looking at.

- The system considers the person, vehicle, or other visible activity and what it appears to be doing. Descriptions can include visible clothing, vehicle details, movement, and interactions.
- Where it happens
- Your entrance, driveway, parked vehicles, and private areas provide different context. Camera coverage and property boundaries help put activity in the right place.
- How the event develops
- An arrival is only part of the story. PerimeterEye connects observations over time and across camera views to understand a visit, including when the same people reappear after leaving a view.
- Your property and mode
- The system learns the normal pattern of your property. Armed is for ordinary life; elevated modes apply a stronger response when you intentionally request it.

What is the difference between detection and threat assessment?
Detection identifies activity in a camera view. Threat assessment considers what is happening, where it is happening, and the context of your property and selected mode before deciding what deserves attention or a response.
Does every person on camera trigger a warning?
No. Armed mode is intended for everyday activity, including ordinary visitors, workers, and deliveries. The system learns the property and assesses activity in context instead of treating every arrival as an intrusion.
What can I see when I receive an alert?
PerimeterEye provides an account of the activity with camera context, so you can understand what prompted the alert and open the live view. You can review events later in the Event Timeline.
What commands the searchlight when a response is needed?
The PerimeterEye Brain coordinates the connected hardware. When the system determines that activity needs to be illuminated, the Brain commands the motorized searchlight to aim and follow within coverage.
Can AI make mistakes?
Yes. Camera angle, visibility, obstructions, and the situation affect what can be understood. Review important events using the footage and context provided, and keep coverage and property preferences up to date.
Can I choose recording without AI analysis?
Yes. Quiet mode keeps passive recording available while AI analysis, notifications, and active deterrence stand down. Off stops watching and recording. You can change modes from your phone or wall panel.
