- See the point where vehicles and people enter from the road or gate. Early context helps connect the arrival to later activity nearer the house.
- The approach
- Keep bends, long setbacks, and screening in mind. Cameras placed along a route provide context that a single view at the garage may miss.
- The parking area
- Include the spaces beside and between parked vehicles. Changing vehicle positions can change what each camera can see.
- The garage and connecting paths
- Cover the routes from parking to the garage, side entrance, and front door, where an arrival becomes activity close to the home.

How is the driveway response decided?
PerimeterEye uses camera context, AI assessment, your Property Mode, and your settings. The Brain commands connected searchlights and siren hardware when a response is warranted, while targeted voice warnings and owner alerts add communication and awareness.
Will my family or delivery driver need me to disarm it?
Armed is designed for daily use. PerimeterEye learns your property and assesses family arrivals, ordinary visitors, workers, and deliveries in context. You do not need a daily routine of arming and disarming as people come and go.
Can the searchlight follow someone along the driveway?
The PerimeterEye Brain can command the motorized searchlight to aim at and track activity within the covered area. Every searchlight has 355° rotation and 90° tilt. Camera views, mounting position, obstructions, and the property layout determine useful coverage.
What about a long or curved driveway?
Plan cameras around the entry, changes in direction, parking area, and garage approach. A bend, hedge, or building can interrupt a view, so a single mounting point should not be assumed to cover the whole route. Our team can help plan the necessary views and connected hardware.
Can I speak to someone from my phone?
Yes. Open the camera and use live two-way audio through supported camera hardware, or use your indoor wall panel. You can also change the mode and escalate or de-escalate the response.
Can PerimeterEye prevent every driveway incident?
No system can guarantee prevention. PerimeterEye is designed to identify activity, make an active response when appropriate, inform you, and retain event context so you can understand what happened.
