Choose deliberately
Match the mode to what you expect.
- An ordinary day → Armed
- You are home, away at work, receiving packages, or expecting routine workers. Armed is designed for this daily rhythm without repeated arm/disarm changes.
- Heightened concern → High Alert or Maximum Security
- You want the system to respond more assertively to unknown activity. Choose the heightened mode that fits the situation and review any expected arrivals.
- An exception you still want to allow
- Give a clear instruction such as allowing mail and package delivery. Keep those exceptions current instead of leaving the system with outdated expectations.
- The situation returns to normal
- Return to Armed from your phone, wall panel, or assistant. You can change the mode whenever your plans change.

Maximum Security questions
Is Maximum Security the mode I should use every day?
Armed is the daily-use mode. It learns the normal activity on your property and handles ordinary arrivals, workers, and deliveries in context. Maximum Security is an intentional increase in response for times when you want the strongest deterrence posture.
What changes in Maximum Security?
Unknown activity receives greater scrutiny, notifications become more urgent, and the system is ready to use connected searchlights, voice warnings, and siren escalation more assertively. The response still depends on the activity, your settings, and installed equipment.
Can I still allow a delivery?
Yes. You can give plain-language exceptions, such as allowing mail and package deliveries, so the system can account for that expected activity while maintaining the heightened mode.
Will every movement trigger the siren?
No. Maximum Security is not a motion-to-siren switch. The system assesses activity and applies its response rules. The Brain commands the siren when the response calls for it, and you can stop it from your app or wall panel.
Can I change my mind while a response is happening?
Yes. You can check the live view, speak through connected camera audio, stop or adjust a response, and change the Property Mode using your phone or wall panel.
Does this mode provide professional monitoring or police dispatch?
No. PerimeterEye provides detection, deterrence, alerts, and owner controls. It is not an alarm-monitoring or emergency-dispatch service, and no mode guarantees that a person will leave or that a crime will be prevented.
