Is this footage from a real PerimeterEye system?

Yes. The films on this page show recorded output from a working PerimeterEye system. The vehicle break-in scenario was staged for filming; the detection, tracking searchlight, voice warning, and siren response were automatic, with no operator driving the response.

What makes a tracking searchlight different from a floodlight?

The PerimeterEye searchlight physically moves to follow suspicious movement. It has 355° of rotation and 90° of tilt, allowing it to keep the beam directed at activity within its installed coverage. The nighttime film shows that movement in actual camera footage.

Are the voice warnings prerecorded?

The AI generates warnings for the situation it observes, addressing the person in view and the activity taking place. You can also use live audio from your phone or wall panel to speak yourself.

Will it treat every visitor or delivery as a threat?

Armed is the daily-use mode. PerimeterEye learns your property and uses context to assess routine residents, visitors, workers, and deliveries alongside suspicious behavior. You do not need a routine of manually arming and disarming it as people come and go. Visitor mode is for large gatherings with lots of expected activity.

Does every detection trigger the siren?

No. The response depends on the assessed activity, your Property Mode, and your response settings. The system can escalate when needed, and you can adjust siren volume or stop the response from your connected controls.

Can I step in or turn deterrence down?

Yes. Use your phone or indoor wall panel to view the cameras, speak live, and escalate or de-escalate the response. Quiet mode keeps cameras recording while AI analysis, notifications, and deterrence stand down. Off mode stops watching and recording.

Can I add this to cameras I already own?

PerimeterEye offers upgrade systems for compatible existing cameras, including packages with active deterrence hardware. Camera and property compatibility should be checked before ordering; our team can help you select the right configuration.

Does active deterrence guarantee an intruder will leave?

No security system can guarantee that someone will leave or that an incident will be prevented. PerimeterEye is designed to make suspicious activity visible, address it while it happens, alert the owner, and preserve useful event context.
